Black Water Falls State Park is another WV treasure that is close to Dolly Sods and Spruce Knob (check out our recommendations for those areas here: https://ltbelts.com/blogs/travel-and-outdoors/hiking-in-dolly-sods. Located about two hours from our shop, this is another great day trip to go and explore the area. One of our team members actually got married at this park! So pack your Lizard Tail belt, some hiking gear, and maybe even a wedding dress to explore this park!
Located just 2 hours away from where Lizard Tail belts are made, Dolly Sods offers an easy day trip with some stunning views. This area of West Virginia offers 47 miles of trails and has a unique ecosystem similar to the Canadian wilderness (minus maple syrup everywhere🥲). Dolly Sods weather can be unpredictable at times so you will want to pack with that in mind. We recommend hiking boots, rain jackets, lots of water, snacks ( plus the blueberries in your pocket from Bear Rocks) warm layers, and most importantly your Lizard Tail belt !
