Well, having spent almost 20 years in a house filled with tanks of our son's poison dart frogs, anoles, geckos, and other herps, I am now happy to add another favorite to our menagerie, LizardTail! This is actually the husband of the verified purchaser writing this review, as my LT Lucy was a gift to me. Before a recent trip to Hawaii, I bought new bathing suit right before we needed to depart--which unfortunately turned out to be one size too large. It has fixed drawstrings that, even when tightened all the way, still leave the trunks a little too loose. However, there are indeed belt loops, but they are only 1/2 inch wide. So, I started looking for a waterproof belt that narrow. We could have made one, my wife being an excellent seamstress, but kind of a pain. Then I came across LT. Perfect! Super easy to put on and use: You just feed it through the loops as you would a belt, run the tail through the loop (which has little grippers in it), and then fold the tail back on itself, where it can be tucked into a little, movable, elasticized band back on the "body" of the tail end so as to be out of the way. I can also see how an LT can be a real fashion statement and conversation starter when used with "normal"-width belt loops, especially if in a contrasting color. The other thing is that an LT is infinitely adjustable, so if your waist changes in one way or another, it can change with you. No more trying to make do with existing belt holes that aren't quite right or even punching new ones. All in all, this is a great product. Looks great, quality construction, easy to use, fair price. And now it's got me thinking about herps again.

I really like the simplicity of this belt. I like the color. Seeking a darker and unobtrusive look. Still getting used to the thick rubber band holder for the slack. Satisfied!
